A Man, Redefined

Not the weight of his name nor the breadth of his chest,
But the tenor of his deeds puts him to the test.
Not the crown of his birth, but the tilt of his hand,
Does he rise with the weak, or bury them in sand?

He wields no claim over dominion or throne,
But tears the fabric of patriarchy, thread by stone.
Chivalry, not as an armor for show,
But as rivers of respect, in steady flow.

Where others reduce, he dares to expand,
Seeing not bodies, but souls that withstand.
Eyes untainted, untrained to leer,
Words unsullied by jest or jeer.

For what is a man, if not the grace
To uplift the silenced, to give them their space?
Not by might, but by breaking the chain,
Does he prove his worth, again and again.

So let not gender, but valour decide,
Who walks as a man, with honour as guide.
For in every gesture, in every creed,
Lies the soul of a man—by action decreed.
