Within me, there is always a cacophony of emotions and feelings. One emotion tweets, the other immediately adds to it considering the standards and limiting itself to only that I can really contain. Sometimes, it splatters and at other times it just seeps deep inside to ensure it’s not seen ever. When there is an exchange of words inside me and my emotions and feelings are battling to prove their points, I talk to myself and realize — since I have the whip hand, I need to seize the clamor.

I meet people and get acquainted with their problems only after talking to them, observing their mannerisms, and their countenances and expressions hand in glove trying to put up a great act to hide what’s inside them. So, here one expression gets asynchronous, and it spills the bean that the person has a problem and it is difficult to tackle. That’s when such people travel to terra incognita — a place where the feelings, situations, thoughts are unknown. They find it extremely difficult to be normal. After meeting such people I take the time to understand them. While analyzing their faces, gazing into their eyes, expressions start peeping out like the sun does magic trying to rip thick clouds apart. I wonder what I see on their faces is really true? The smile is real or fake? Is that person going through a rough patch? Is that person trying hard to hide something?

I know many people who avoid confrontations of any sort to share their deepest-hurtful-hibernating incidents, which I think is fine. Many people try hard to sync their minds and heart to understand why things went wrong. It’s a human tendency to ponder. But, remember sooner the better you get over all those feelings that always haunt you, make you a victim.

The rocklike, frozen, buried part of your life that has jolted you in a big way can be tackled in two ways either to talk it out or forget it.
Life is beautiful.

  1. Travel
  2. Exercise
  3. Read books
  4. Learn music
  5. Sit by a lake
  6. Listen to music
  7. Feel the breeze
  8. Pick up a hobby
  9. Learn something
  10. Look at the blue sky
  11. Cook palatable food
  12. Learn a new language
  13. Sharpen your verbal edge
  14. Appreciate the colorful flowers
  15. Prepare a timetable and stick to it until you are no longer restless
  16. Engage yourself in some activity where you’ve to think about expanding the scope

There is no dearth of activities. There are a plethora of them.

Don’t let strength, courage, confidence betray you at such times. Be strong! Remember, you’re alive to see this beautiful world and to enjoy every bit of it. Get hold of yourself and carry on with the lessons you learned through those problems.

Zoom out the problem to the size where it’s no longer seen. Good luck!
